This 2022 site created by Employment and Social Development Canada offers a helpful section-by-section guide to preparing an accessibility plan. It details the required sections a plan must include according to the Accessible Canada Act. This guide explains what must be included under the heading “General” as well as what could be optionally included. This guide also describes recommended optional sections, like a glossary. The guide includes the requirements for publication of the plan and also provides a template for developing an accessibility plan.

This web page would be useful both to federally regulated organizations seeking to create an accessibility plan as well as to those with lived experience of disability, of being Deaf, or both, who would like to be paid to help regulated organizations develop their plan.
